#Clapforcarers

The UK has been in lockdown for 31 days (yes, only 31 – it does seem like a lot longer!!) and tonight marks the 5th clap for carers at 8pm.

At first it felt a little silly to go outside and clap for a minute but as the weeks have progressed, it has become not only a sign of appreciation to all the men & women in the UK who continue to work during this pandemic, but it also has a truly wonderful community spirit feel about it. Each week, more and more people are going out to say ‘thank you’ and more and more noise is bring created. I very much look forward to tonight’s clap along with all the others until this is over.
